As we move further into Spring and feel the warmth of Summer approaching, it’s the perfect time for fresh beginnings and renewed energy. In this October Health & Wellbeing update, we’re thrilled to introduce the wonderful new faces joining the Greenhithe Medical Centre team. Their expertise and enthusiasm will help us continue providing the best care to our community.
We are super excited to be welcoming Dr Andrei Postoialkov, and Registered Nurse Susan Williamson to the Greenhithe Medical Centre team!

Dr Andrei Postoialkov
Dr Andrei graduated from Minsk State Medical University in 1988 and worked in cardiology for 10 years. After moving to New Zealand, he spent 6 years in Auckland hospitals and became a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2011.
He brings 18 years of general practice experience, with a focus on general medicine, older adults’ health, and cardiology. Dr Andrei enjoys supporting patients and their families. Outside of work, he likes reading, swimming, chess, and family time.
Dr Andrei will join Greenhithe Medical Centre from Wednesday 22 October 2025, and will be available Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Registered Nurse Susan Williamson
Susan has been nursing for many years in a variety of health settings, including 15 years in general practice. She thoroughly enjoys working with people and is passionate about making a positive impact on people's healthcare experience. Susan's areas of interest are older adult's health, diabetes, palliative care, and management of long-term conditions.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys mountain biking, art, and reading.
Together, this team represents a renewed commitment to quality care, community connection, and patient wellbeing. Whether you’re a long-time patient or new to the area, we welcome you to come in, say hello, and experience the care and connection that defines Greenhithe Medical Centre.
