Staff changes

It is with sadness that we let you know that Dr Ash is leaving Greenhithe Medical, with his final day on Friday 19 September 2025. While we will miss having Ash as part of our team, we are incredibly grateful for what he has brought to the practice and the care he has provided to our patients and community. We wish him all the best.

Be assured your ongoing care is important to us and we’re committed to making sure your health journey continues smoothly. Dr Sahar, our local Greenhithe resident, will continue on Mondays and Tuesdays. Dr Ash's days will be covered by a locum GP over the next couple of months while we look for a GP to replace him. We will be sure to update you when we have someone come on board.

Dr Sahar earned her medical degree in Iraq before migrating to New Zealand, where she became a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners in 2019. She is passionate about family medicine, with a focus on Women’s Health and Mental Health. Sahar speaks English and Arabic fluently.
