We are excited to welcome Dr Ashraf Eilyaas (aka Dr Ash) to Greenhithe Medical Centre as our new GP.
Dr Ash was born and raised in Singapore and came to New Zealand in 2016. He has more than 25 years of clinical and administrative medical experience, and we are very fortunate to have him at the practice. Dr Ash has special interests in dermatology/cosmetic medicine and a lifelong aspiration to make the world a better place.
We would also like to extend a sincere thank you and farewell to Dr Nick Gailer, who has officially finished up with us at Greenhithe Medical to allow him to spend more time with his family.
Dr Nick has been a tremendous doctor for many patients since opening the practice in 1994 and we wish him all the very best for his retirement.

Keeping well
Time is flying by, and it’ll soon be March, so a quick reminder that flu vaccines are available from 1 April every year. Vaccines are the most effective way to protect yourself from the influenza virus and are recommended for everyone over 6 months old. The flu vaccine is free for people who are pregnant, people over 65, and for many other with long-term conditions like diabetes, asthma, or a heart condition.
